The arrows point to a linear, radiolucent object inside the soft tissue. We sedated Lexi and we were able to feel something in the tissue. An incision was made over the end of the object. Imagine our surprise when we pulled a 4 inch X 1 1/2 inch piece of wood out.
Lexi's wounds were flushed thoroughly to remove all the debris and hair. She was bandaged and sent home with instructions not to get into any more trouble! |
